Help and advice

Our new service provides more than just dispensing. You can expect sympathetic and confidential advice about your prescription and any medical related problems you may be experiencing. Some common complaints can often be treated with medicines that we stock in the pharmacy. Our pharmacist will recommend a suitable choice or you may be advised to see your doctor.

Medication usage reviews

We can carry out a review of all the medication you are currently taking. Our pharmacist will explain the correct methods of taking your medication and discuss compliance, side effects and any possible clinical issues arising. Please refer to our medicine use review section of the website.

Support for people with disabilities

We are an agent for the Sigmobility range of mobility and home-care aids. Please refer to our disability aids section of the website.

Prescription dosage cassettes filled

We can help patients who may find it difficult remembering to take medicines in a variety of ways - whether in the form of a reminder chart or filling cassettes with one week’s supply of medicine, split into different times of the day for each day of the week.

Residential and nursing homes

As well as providing a full pharmacy service using either the Nomad or Manrex dosage systems, we can visit your residential or nursing home to advise and guide you on correct medication use, storage and any other medical related queries. Our pharmacists are also available to advise you on the most suitable method of medicine delivery

Attached to our Croft Road branch is a store specialising in Health foods, supplements and alternative medicines. Please refer to our Health food store section of the website.
